McConnon, (née Larkin) Stella, Howth and formerly of Carrickbrack, Sutton, Dublin 13. Passed away peacefully, in the amazing care of the staff of AnovoCare Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday 10th December 2023. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Aine. Stella will be deeply missed by her husband Michael. Her children Neil, Maeve and Eoin, daughters-in-law Ricarda and Violet, son-in-law Fergus, adoring grandchildren Sean, Oisin, Caitlin, Eoin Jnr, Fia, Cathal, Alexia, Gia and Grayson, extended family, relatives, wonderful friends and all who knew her.

A celebration of Stella’s life will take place in St. Fintan’s Church, Sutton on Wednesday 13th December 2023 at 11am followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.

Haran Patrick (Patsy), Portmarnock and formerly of Derrygonnelly, Co. Fermanagh and President of Naomh Mearnog GAA Club. Passed away on 8th December 2023. Peacefully, in the care of Beaumont Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Mary. Very sadly missed by his loving wife, children Patricia, Michael and Brendan, daughters-in-law Carol and Ina, his adored grandchildren Niamh, Sarah and Nada, sisters Josie, Peggy and Bridie, brothers Michael and Benny, nieces, nephews, in laws, cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Farrell, Frankie, (Ballyfermot, Dublin) 10th December 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his family and next to his warm fireplace, just as he wished. Frankie will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Terry and Frank, daughters-in-law Una and Karen, grandchildren Katie, Gemma, Brian, Grant, Luke and Lauren, sisters Marie, Lena and Teresa, brother Andy.

He will be greatly missed by his extended family, relatives and many, many friends.

MARTON, Tibor (Tibi) died unexpectedly at home Sunday 3rd December 2023. Much loved and deeply missed by his loving wife Jane, daughter Lissie, his brother Miklöś, sister-in-law Melinda and the wider Marton and Miller families. The family have been greatly comforted by the support and love shown by Tibi’s Dublin friends as well as relatives and friends in Romania, Hungary and beyond.

Lying in repose on Saturday, 9th December, from 2pm to 3.30pm at Stafford’s Funeral Directors, Ballyfermot (D10FY96) followed immediately by a cremation service.

KNOETZE Marianne (Carletonville, South Africa and Clontarf, Dublin 3). It is with sadness that we announce the death of Marianne on December 4th 2023, peacefully at St Francis Hospice, Raheny, after an illness courageously borne. She will be deeply missed by all her South African family and life-long friends, especially her siblings Marie, Johan and Dorothy, their partners, children and grandchildren. Also her many missionary friends across the world. Her family here in Ireland, especially Samuel, Lorraine and Daniel, as well as the many friends she made all over Ireland.

‘May the communion of saints welcome her with singing, and God’s pilgrims on earth keep you company in your sorrow.’

Funeral service to be held in Clontarf and Scots Presbyterian Church, Howth Rd, on Saturday, December 9th at 11am.
