COONEY, Esther (Essie), (née Whelan) – 13th of May 2026, (Clondalkin and formerly of Ballyfermot Road), (Peacefully after a long illness), surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Clondalkin lodge Nursing Home. Beloved wife of Sam and loving mother of John, Esther, June and Liam. Essie will be very sadly missed by her husband, sons and daughters, grandchildren Ciara, Amy, Glenn, Nadia, Jessica, Daryl, Jamie, Robert, Karl, Kaitlyn, Jason, Liam, Alex and Tristan, her 12 cherished great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Essie will be reposing at home on Sunday the 17th of May from 2-4pm. Removal on Monday morning the 18th of May to the Church of The Immaculate Heart of Mary, Rowlagh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Esker Lawn Cemetery.
