Damien Molloy

MOLLOY – June 2, 2020, in his 69th year, Damien, late of Sandymount, Drumcondra, Molloy & Sherry and Cruzzo, died (unexpectedly) in Thailand. Beloved son of late John and Kathleen; nephew of late William and Mary; father of Joelle and Jill; brother of Arthur and Raphael Ann; uncle of Susan, Sharon, Garrett, Patricia, Karen, Richard, Louise and John; brother-in-law of Annette and late Peter; former-husband of Grania. Sadly missed by all relatives and his many, many friends. May He Rest in Peace.

As an ardent musician, Damien was the life of every party. He was an established singer, bassist and piano player, and performed with Dave and the Be-Bops for years. His vast library of records was legendary. Damien also adored squash and tennis at his beloved Lansdowne and Fitzwilliam LTCs, golf, boating on the Shannon and grilling for his many friends and family. An incredible friend, Damien was the first call for many who needed help or support and it was his joy to assist in any way possible.
