Mac Cana Eanna Joseph, Malahide, 10th September 2020. Peacefully in the care of Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Maria. Very sadly missed by his loving children Gerald, Ciaran and Colette, daughters-in-law Patricia and Lesley, son-in-law Denis, his adored grandchildren Eanna, Ronan, Nathan, Laoishe, Saoirse, Oisin, Ciara and Kate, great grandson Joseph and his mother, Tayla, sisters Maura and Ita, brother Diarmuid, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May He Rest in Peace.
A private funeral will take place for family and close friends. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot do so, please feel free to leave a message in the Condolence Book at the bottom of this page or send on condolences by traditional manner.
So sorry to hear Mr. McCann has passed away. My sincere condolonces to his family. He taught me art in Holy Faith Clontarf. I lived for the art classes and learned so much from his amazing talent. I’m sitting here at my desk in Palm Beach, Florida in an advertising agency having just heard from my sister of this sad news and thinking that he set me on my career path, and how grateful I am for all that I learned.
