Ryder Eugene, Portmarnock and formerly of Howth and Raheny and late of RiceSteele. 29th June 2021. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of St Francis Hospice, Raheny. Predeceased by his son-in-law Gerry. Very sadly missed by his loving daughters Andrea and Elaine, his adored grandchildren Ruth and Jacob, brother Dermot, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
May He Rest in Peace.
In line with Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings a private family funeral will take place. Those who would have liked to attend but due to current restrictions cannot, please feel free to leave a message in the Condolence Book at the bottom of the page or send on condolences in the traditional manner. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Capuchin Day Centre.

Dearest Andrea, Elaine, Ruth and Jacob, I am so sorry to hear of the death of your dad & grandad, Eugene (Mr Ryder) was the loveliest of men. A funny, reliable and very kind man, he features strongly in my memories of growing up in Limewood and later in Howth. He thought the world of his girls and his pride in them was always evident. He loved being a grandad and was thrilled at the arrival of Ruth & Jacob. I will always have fond and happy memories of singing along to Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline, as Mr Ryder drove us to school. Rest In Peace.
