Hughes, Carmel, (née Murphy) Palmerstown and formerly of Ballyfermot, 12th October 2023, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in Connolly Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Jack Hughes and loving mam to John, Gregory, Christina and Robert, daughters-in-law Susie, Stella and Veronica, her adored grandchildren Jonathan, Edel, Adam, Rebecca, Ciaran, Kenneth, Craig and Jack, great grandchildren, deeply missed by her sister Kathleen, brothers Brendan, Michael and Jimmy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Sunday 15th October from 2pm to 5pm. Removal on Monday morning to St Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by a burial at Palmerstown Cemetery.
