Doran Michael, Portmarnock and formerly of Carlow. 26th April 2025. Peacefully, in the care of Swords Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his grandchildren Niamh and Finn. Beloved husband of Heather. Very sadly missed by his loving wife, children Barry, Ian and Michelle, daughters-in-law Sheona and Jenny, son-in-law Jay, his adored grandchildren Conor and Giorgi, brother Eddie, sister Maura, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
May He Rest in Peace.
A Service to celebrate Michael’s life will take place in Dardistown crematorium on Thursday, 8th May, at 2.30pm. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Ireland.

Sincere condolences to Heather, Barry, Ian, Michelle and the extended Doran family in the death of Michael. I had the pleasure of working with Michael for a few years and he was an absolute gentleman. Michel was caring, compassionate, helpful and he had an innate sense of decency and fairness. He was extremely proud of his family. Michael’s infectious smile, engaging personality and witty catchphrases endeared him to all those who had the good fortune of knowing him. It is difficult to believe that we will not see his beaming smile or hear his friendly greetings again. Michael’s fever for life is over and his work is welldone. Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís. Leaba i measc na naomh go raibh aige.
