Gus Melia, Baldoyle, Dublin 13

Augustine (Gus), 12th November, Baldoyle, Dublin, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Betty and cherished dad of Phillip, Sharon & Sonya; adored grandad of Arran & Seóna. Deeply missed by his sister-in-law, Carol, sons-in-law David and Dermot, sisters Anne & Marie, brothers Pat & Colm, and is predeceased by his brother John. Gus will also be deeply mourned by his extended family, in-laws, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. A man of many talents and an all-round fixer, Gus was known for his kindness, quick humour and a song at the ready.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Tuesday the 18th of November from 2pm to 4pm . A Celebration of Gus’s Life will take place at Dardistown Crematorium Wednesday afternoon at 2.30pm
