Smith, Ellen (Nellie), née Murray, 9th June 2026, (Ballyfermot) peacefully in her 96th year surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the staff at St James Hospital. Reunited with her beloved husband Bill, her parents, brothers and sisters. Nellie will be very sadly missed by her loving family, children Carol, Liam, AnnMarie and Damien, son-in-law Graeme, daughter-in-law Fran, her adored grandchildren Paul, Niamh, Karen, Andrew, Rachel, Aidan, Ciara and Dylan, great grandchildren William, Jack and Eliot, sister Annie, brothers Sean and Noel, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Nellie will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Friday afternoon, 12th June from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St Matthews Church, Ballyfermot arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial at Palmerstown Cemetery.
