HOEY, Sheila, (Dunne) – 01st September 2026, (Donaghmede and formerly of Artane), (Peacefully), after a long illness borne with great dignity, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved wife of Cyril and loving mother of Gavin and Lisa. Predeceased by her parents Brendan and Sheila and her brother Brendan. Very sadly missed by her husband, son and daughter, son-in-law Conor, daughter-in-law Maria, her cherished grandchildren Freya, Conor, Ivy and Alex, brother Patrick and sisters Pauline, June and Bernadette, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Sheila will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Portmarnock on Thursday afternoon 3rd September from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Friday morning to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Donaghmede, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by Burial in Balgriffin Cemetery.
The Funeral Mass will be streamed live on https://holytrinityparish.ie/live/.
The family wish for those attending to wear bright colours to reflect Sheila’s warm and loving nature.
