CLARKE, Jim, (Malahide, Co Dublin, and formerly Dundalk, Co Louth), in his 91st year on 5 September 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully at home in his garden.
Beloved husband of Margaret (née Duggan) and adored father of Orla, Niamh and Paul.
Much loved by his family, his sons-in-law Eugene (Larkin) and Francis (Callaghan), his daughter-in-law Sonya, his grandchildren Jack, Malaidh, Tom, Charlie, Lauren, Oliver and Juliette, his sisters Mae (McComish) Patsy (Carolan) and brother Tony, his sister-in-law Helen McDonnell, brothers-in-law Noel and Damien and all of his nieces and nephews.
Jim is pre-deceased by his grandson Harry, his parents, his brothers Michael and Seán and his baby brother Edmund.
Jim will be greatly missed by his family and wide circle of great friends in Malahide, Donabate Golf Club, Old O’Connell’s Golf Society and beyond.

Jim will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock ( D13 E0A2 ) on Thursday 10 September from 2pm to 4pm. Removal from his home on Friday morning 11 September to St Sylvester’s Church, Malahide arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Dardistown.
