Duffy, Val (Paul Valentine) – 28th February 2026, Monkstown, peacefully in Blackrock Clinic after a short illness.Predeceased by his brothers Vincent and Frank. Val will be very sadly missed by his wife Margaret, brother Adrian and sister Jacinta his extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Dun Laoghaire on Wednesday afternoon 4th March from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Thursday morning to St Patricks Church Monkstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Mount Jerome crematorium.

The death has occurred of Kieran O’Rourke, (Baldoyle / Swords / Sutton ).

It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected death of Kieran, a loving father, son, brother, partner and adored grandad. Predeceased by his father Ed.

Kieran will be deeply missed by his daughters Niamh and Eadaoin, his grandchildren Cole, Piper and Rylee, his partner Louise, his mother Phyllis, his former wife Una, son-in-law Karl, daughter-in-law Lisa, brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends and neighbours.

He will always be remembered for his hearty laugh and his kindness for others.

Beloved husband of Nuala and loving dad to Michèle, the late Séamus, Niamh, Emer, Brónagh, Abina, Emmet, Dara and Muireann. Predeceased by his brother John and sister Margaret, brothers-in-law Christy and Paul, sister-in-law Rosaleen and nephew Paul. Very sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughters, sons-in-law David, Hamish, Treabhor and Paddy, daughter-in-law Krystle. Grandchildren Tiarnán, Conall, Megan, Éanna, Cian, Taimse, Amelia, Ruadhán, Leila, Jared, Ódhran, Moya, Brandon, Réiltín, Freya and Tadhg, brothers Jim and Pat, sisters Mary and Bina, brother-in-law Tim, sisters-in-law Kay and Jo, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

O’Connor, Michael (Mick), 27th February 2026 (Artane, and formerly of Ballyfermot) (formerly of Irish Distillers), peacefully in the care of staff in Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Rachael and Patrick, and his brother Tommy, sisters Noreen, Patricia, and Maria.

Beloved husband of Mary, and adored Dad of Jason, Edel and Julian. Mick will be dearly missed by his wife, daughter, sons, son-in-law Darren, daughters-in-law Flora and Rachael, grandchildren Katie, Paul, Stephanie, Jade, Nathan, Shannon, Lily, Emily, Devan, Damien, Jack, Sarah and Faith, 10 great grandchildren, sisters Angela, Bernadette and Lorraine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia Flatau (née Byrne), Wimbledon, London and formerly of Donaghmede, Dublin on 12th February 2026 in Royal Trinity Hospice, London following an illness borne with great bravery. Predeceased by her father Jimmy and her father-in -law Jack. Sylvia will be very deeply missed by her loving husband Robert, her adored daughter Juliette, her loving mother Betty, her sisters and brothers Geraldine, Fiona, Ruth, Vincent and Alan, mother-in-law Susan, brothers in law, sisters-in-law, her beloved nieces and nephews, grandniece, grandnephews, her many aunts, cousins and wide circle of lovely friends.

KILLIAN, Máire, (née Davoren) – 24th February 2026 (Portmarnock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Moycullen, Co. Galway). Peacefully  surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved wife of the late Jim and loving mum to Deirdre and Eamonn. Predeceased by her parents and twelve siblings. Very sadly missed by her daughter Deirdre and son Eamonn, Deirdre’s partner David, daughter-in-law Jo, adored grandchildren Neill, Amy, Morgan, Isobella, Eryn and Ethan, great grandchildren Danii and Jimi, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Special thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and at Duleek Care Centre (Silver Stream), and her carers from Kare Plan.

Audrey Byrne, (née Daly), late of Howth. Died peacefully on the 20th February 2026 at Beaumont Hospital surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the hospital staff.
