With deepest sorrow and heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Bernadette Vickers in the wonderful care of the staff in Ryevale Nursing Home, Leilxip, Co. Kildare.

Vickers, Bernadette (Nee Gleeson) of Wheatfield Road, Palmerstown, formerly of Galtymore Drive. Predeceased by Edward her loving husband, sisters Anna and Mary, brothers Liam, Sean and Anthony. Beloved mother of Barry & Stephen, sister to Eamonn, Patricia. Nana to Ciaran and Kate. A titan of Palmerstown, with countless acting awards won for Palmerstown in the Amateur Dramatic Group, a reader in St Philomena’s Church. Avid walker including the Camino de Santiago de Compostela and long-time member of Dublin Walking Club, Professional Viking, Playschool pioneer, and all-round inspiration. Friend to many, loved by all.

Bernadette will be reposing in her family home on Sunday from 12o’c. Removal on Monday, 18th December, to St. Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving at 9.50am for 10am Funeral Mass, followed with Burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
