Peacefully, in her 90th year in the wonderful care of St. Patrick’s Nursing Home, Baldoyle surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Paul and predeceased by her sister Barbara. Very sadly missed by her loving daughter Grainne, son Shane, son-in-law Declan, daughter-in-law Edina, her adored grandchildren Aidan, Cormac and Alice, brother Joe, sisters Magdaline, Nuala and Brenda, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Friday, 6th December, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal to St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Baldoyle on Saturday morning for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Fingal cemetery. Family flowers only please. Wall, Brian (Baldoyle) – 30th November 2024. Passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital. Beloved husband of Arlene. Predeceased by his sister Jules. Very sadly missed by his loving wife, his mother Carmel, sisters Pier and Sharon, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law in South Africa, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and the many colleagues and business associates with whom he has worked over the years.

Rose O’Flaherty (née Bowes) Clontarf, Dublin Peacefully at home on 2nd December 2024.

Beloved and devoted mother to Brendan, Declan, Cathal, and Coira, and an adored grandmother to Kate, Cal, Clara, Eva, Darragh, Cianna, and Izzy. Rose will be deeply missed by her loving children, grandchildren, Debbie, Naomi, and Catherine, as well as her extended family, and a wide circle of friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the many kind carers who looked after Rose so well in recent years, particularly Leonie, and to the staff and nurses from St. Francis Hospice Raheny and The Avenue Family Practice.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday, 4th December, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Removal on Thursday afternoon, 5th December, to the Mount Jerome Victorian Chapel, Harold’s Cross, for a celebration of Rose’s life at 4 pm, followed by cremation as per her wishes.

McGinley, Kieran Jack, 25th of November 2024 (Pearse Street, and formerly of Rathmines) (Suddenly).

Beloved husband of Helen. Kieran will be dearly missed by his cherished siblings, Sean and Marie, and is reunited with his predeceased brother Francis. A devoted godfather, he is lovingly remembered by his godsons David and Cian, and he holds a special place in the memory of his late godson Mark. A treasured uncle to Alison and Sarah, Kieran’s warmth and kindness, sadly missed by his sister in law and brother in law, will be fondly remembered by his extended family, neighbours, and his close circle of friends.

Jack dedicated 45 years to Trinity College, earning respect and admiration from colleagues throughout the university community. A committed advocate for workers’ rights, he was actively involved with SIPTU and worked passionately with the Irish Labour History Society and his own Umiskin Press to preserve the stories of Ireland’s labour movement. His contributions leave a lasting legacy of dedication and integrity.
