Peacefully, in her 90th year in the wonderful care of St. Patrick’s Nursing Home, Baldoyle surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Paul and predeceased by her sister Barbara. Very sadly missed by her loving daughter Grainne, son Shane, son-in-law Declan, daughter-in-law Edina, her adored grandchildren Aidan, Cormac and Alice, brother Joe, sisters Magdaline, Nuala and Brenda, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Friday, 6th December, from 3pm to 5pm. Beloved and devoted mother to Brendan, Declan, Cathal, and Coira, and an adored grandmother to Kate, Cal, Clara, Eva, Darragh, Cianna, and Izzy. Rose will be deeply missed by her loving children, grandchildren, Debbie, Naomi, and Catherine, as well as her extended family, and a wide circle of friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the many kind carers who looked after Rose so well in recent years, particularly Leonie, and to the staff and nurses from St. Francis Hospice Raheny and The Avenue Family Practice.

Jack dedicated 45 years to Trinity College, earning respect and admiration from colleagues throughout the university community. A committed advocate for workers’ rights, he was actively involved with SIPTU and worked passionately with the Irish Labour History Society and his own Umiskin Press to preserve the stories of Ireland’s labour movement. His contributions leave a lasting legacy of dedication and integrity.
