Kevin Daly

(North Strand and originally St. Mary’s Road, East Wall, Dublin)

September 21st 2024. Unexpectedly, at the age of 88, surrounded by his devoted family, and in the tender care of James Connolly Memorial Hospital.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Jenny.

Loving father of sons Alan & Kevin and daughter Lorraine. Very sadly missed by his sisters Agnes and Margie, daughter-in-law Linda, adored grandsons Steven and Carl, granddaughter Sarah, great-grandson Calvin, and by his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, 60 North Strand, D03 HC96 on Wednesday evening, September 25th 2024, from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal on Thursday morning, September 26th 2024, to the Church of St Joseph, East Wall, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel.

Breda Carey (née Balfe), Malahide, formerly of Churchtown and late of Malahide Bridge Club. 20th September 2024. Peacefully in the company of her loving family while in the wonderful care of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Very sadly missed by her loving husband Gerard, daughters Paula and Fiona, sons-in-law Liam and Paul, her adored grandchildren Kieran, Aideen and Sam, sister Kay, her loving nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. King (née Hogan) Mary, Portmarnock and formerly of Askeaton, Co. Limerick. 20th September 2024. Peacefully, in the care of Talbot Lodge Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Michael and loving mother of the late John. Predeceased by her sister Kathleen. DOYLE, Eileen (née McGirl) – 20th of September 2024, (Lucan and formerly of Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim), (Peacefully). Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mamie, sisters Josephine and Ann, brothers Francis and Adrian. Loving mother of Ailish and Nicole. Eileen will be very sadly missed by her daughters, sons-in-law Paul and Damien, Nicky Doyle, brothers and sisters, with a special thank you to Carmel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Eileen’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful care that she received in the time she spent in Mountain View, with a special thank you to John.

Kevin will be very sadly missed by his loving daughter Ciara, step children Keith and Sarah- Jane, son-in-law Stephen, his adored grandsons Luke and Leon, brothers Jack, Michael, Eddie, Dave, Francis and Brendan, sisters Marion and Bridget, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff at St Vincent’s Hospital for their professional, empathetic, and dedicated attention they gave Kevin during his time in their care.
