MCGINLEY, Angela (née Ryan) passed peacefully on 19 July 2026 surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Bon Secours Hospital. Glasnevin. Angela will be very sadly missed by her beloved husband Eamonn, her daughters Karen and Aoife, son-in-law Derek, grandchildren Aifric and Joni, sister Noreen, brothers Padraig and Tomas, brother-in-law Damian, sisters-in-law Sylvia and Jacque, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Angela was a kind, dependable and pragmatic person. She loved her people and she was a great friend and neighbour. She was the most loving and present grandparent. She put family above everything else in her life, she was a rock for so many. She loved being out walking in nature, she cared deeply about the environment and her local community. She will be so dearly missed.
The McGinley family would like to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time but especially the incredible staff of the Bon Secours Hospital who cared for her with such compassion and kindness during her devastatingly short illness.
In lieu of flowers, the McGinley family have requested donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
Angela will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock ( D13 E0A2 ) on Friday 24th July from 2- 4 pm. A Funeral Service will take place in Dardistown Crematorium on Saturday 25th July at 1.30pm.
