GAIRE, Gerard (Butch) – 30th April 2026, Ballyfermot (formerly of Colepark Drive, Ballyfermot) (Peacefully), surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at St James’s Hospital. Predeceased by his loving wife Brigid (Bridie), and sisters Mary and Noreen. Very sadly missed by his cherished daughter Nicola, son-in-law Derek grandchildren, Ellen, James and Robert, brothers Paddy, Jackie, Donie and sisters Brid and Ann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Gerard will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Monday afternoon 4th May from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Ballyfermot arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by a committal service and celebration of Gerard’s life in Staffords Funeral Home, Ballyfermot.
