McSweeney, Thomas – 14th October 2026, (Swords). Peacefully, in the presence of his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St Francis Hospice, Raheny. Beloved husband of Mary and devoted dad to Mia and Alanna, son of the late Tom and Mary McSweeney.
The heart of our family, he was a husband and dad beyond measure, whose love, laughter and devotion shaped our lives in ways that will stay with us forever. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories to treasure and a love that will never leave us. He will be missed more than words can say by his wife and daughters, his mother Mary Anderson, his sisters Joan, Trish and Sarah, his brother Jon, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

The staff brought him comfort and lifted his spirits, and gave us a kindness we will never forget.
Thomas will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock, on Monday 19th October from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Tuesday 20th October to Dardistown Crematorium arriving for the Cremation Service at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, we would greatly appreciate donations to St Francis Hospice in gratitude for the exceptional care, kindness and dignity shown to Dad and our family.
