Verona Connolly (née) Russell, (Portmarnock, Dublin and formerly of Kincora Terrace, Dundalk), September 5th 2026.
Verona passed peacefully in the care of her loving family and the staff of St Francis Hospice, Raheny, Dublin.
Pre-deceased by her parents, Patrick and Eileen Russell, sisters Una Russell and Eileen Larkin.
Verona was much loved by her children Darragh, Shane and Rossa, grandchildren Madeleine, Michael, Marcus, Seb and Sienna, sisters Frances and Joan, brother Brendan, daughters-in-law Nicola and Leeanne, brother-in-law Jim and sister-in-law Angela, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, former colleagues, and her wide circle of friends and neighbours.

A gathering with family in attendance will take place at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Thursday September 10th from 3 to 5 pm. Removal on Friday morning to St Anne’s Church, Portmarnock arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery extension.
