John Murtagh

Murtagh, John – (Ballyfermot) 9th October 2025 (Peacefully) at St James Hospital with his wife Evelyn by his side. Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Ellen, sisters Darri, Rita and Joan, brother Kevin. John will be very sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife Evelyn, sisters Imelda and Eileen, brother Jimmy, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

John will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Saturday 11th October from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Monday morning to The Church of St Matthew, Ballyfermot arriving for 11.30am Funeral Mass followed by burial at Esker Lawns Cemetery.

The Murtagh family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff in The Abraham Colles and Margaret Keogh ward for their professional, empathetic, and dedicated attention they gave John during his time in their care
