Peter Feeney, Clontarf, Dublin 3
In Loving Memory of Peter Feeney
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Feeney. (Formerly of Clontarf, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and Drumcliff, Co Sligo) who passed away peacefully on 6th January 2026 in the familiar surroundings at his son Philip’s home.
Peter was the beloved husband and best friend of the late Ethel for 31 wonderful years. He was a devoted father to Philip and Colm and a cherished brother to his own sisters and brothers Anne, Sadie and Margaret. (Predeceased) Paddy, Roddy, Michael and Bridie.
Known for his compassionate heart and caring nature, Peter took his greatest joy in being an amazing grandfather to Kaelan, Casey, Aine and Ciara, who will forever remember his gourmet dinners, sandwiches and stories. He lived his life with kindness and an unwavering dedication to his family, leaving behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten. He will also be very sadly missed by his sisters-in-law’s Peig, Margaret and Mary, his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and good neighbours of Clontarf, Leixlip and Drumcliff, Co Sligo.
The family would like to say a special thank you to all the staff at The Mater hospital and the paramedics who cared for Peter.
“May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.”
