Callan Treasa (née Brogan), Portmarnock and late of Marino. September 11, 2019. Peacefully, with great dignity, under the tender care of staff in Beaumont Hospital, in the loving embrace of her family, fortified by songs, prayers, stories, and God’s grace, courageous to the end. Beloved wife and life companion of Patrick and cherished mother of Claire, Conor and Ciarán, daughter-in-law Emma, son-in-law Simon, grandchildren Sadie and Séan, sister, brothers, relatives and friends. A tireless champion of education and literature, she contributed as teacher, journalist, author, and theatre critic (Evening Press).

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Strand Road, Portmarnock on Friday, 13th September, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal to St. Anne’s Church, Portmarnock on Saturday morning for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. House private, by request.
