‘Won’t see the golden of the sun, when I’m gone
And the evenings and the mornings will be one, when I’m gone
Can’t be singing louder than the guns, while I’m gone
So I guess I’ll have to do it while I’m here’ – Phil Ochs

Due to HSE guidelines a private funeral will take place for immediate family only. The Hearse will pass Kevin’s residence at approximately 1 pm on Monday, 11th May for friends and neighbours who would have liked to attend the funeral but due to current restrictions cannot. Kevin,
We “Paid the Reckoning” with you many times: in exotic places like Masons Bar — under the city walls — at the historic All-Ireland Fleadh in Derry, in Oscar Taylors steak-house in Malahide, and in various pubs/bars in Drumshanbo, and most recently in The Teachers Club. You enjoyed your music — and we always enjoyed your whistle playing. You would come into the session, quietly sit down, nod to everybody there, take out the trusty whistle and “Off she Goes”. You had some unusual tunes and these contributed to the richness of the session. There are tunes you played — like “Pay the Reckoning” — that will always make us both think of you whenever, and wherever, they are played.
Ar dheis Dé gur raibh do anam uasal.
