Ger Carthy, Beaumont, Dublin 9
Gerald (Ger) Carthy, 13th May 2020 (Artane, Dublin). Peacefully, at Beaumont Hospital. Sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, daughter Niamh, son Barry, son-in-law Liam, daughter-in-law Marketa and his grandchildren Karen, Gillian, Mark, Eliška and Sofia. Also by his brothers John and Paddy and his extended family in England. He will be remembered with love by the Dowling family and by his large circle of friends.
With special thanks to the wonderful staff of CareChoice Malahide for taking great care of Ger in recent times.
Due to Government guidelines regarding public gatherings, a Private Funeral will take place tomorrow Friday 15th at 12 noon. Those who would have liked to attend the Funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please see attached webcam link http://www.donnycarneyparish.ie/webcam.html

John Blood called me to say he had seen Ger’s name on The Late Late, and was shocked to hear the news confirmed. He sends his sympathies to you and spoke very fondly on many golf and card games with Ger over the years.
I hope you have received my letter by now, and once again my sympathies on your terrible loss. Colm
