Margaret Dolan, Clontarf, Dublin 3

Dolan, Margaret (nee Barnes) (Clontarf and formerly of Ballyforan, Co Galway) – October 6, 2020, aged 92, peacefully at home in the loving care of her daughter Monica and daughter-law Elsa.
Margaret was the devoted wife of the late Richard (died 1991), loving mother of Monica, and doting mother-law of Elsa. Preceded by her sisters, Christina, Angela, Maureen, and Cissie, and brothers, John, Kevin, and Philip. Margret will be fondly remembered by her cousin, Liz, her three sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, many kind neighbours and dear friends.
More recently, we have been so grateful for the wonderful care and support given to Margaret and her family by the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Raheny. Over the years, Margaret received wonderful care from her GPs Drs. Carmody and Bates, and Practice Nurse, Ger Gleasure, the team, in particular CNS Christine Howley, at the Heart Failure Clinic at the Mater Hospital, and the Public Health Nurses, Vernon Avenue. And a special thanks to Renee.
A private funeral will be held in the Church of St John the Baptist, Clontarf Road. Due to current restrictions, a celebration of Margaret’s life will be held with her extended family and friends, at a later date. No flowers please. If wished, donations would be appreciated to St Francis Hospice, Raheny.
