    Maureen and Family,

It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that I send this message to you at this sad time but, unfortunately, due to the restrictions placed upon us these days, we cannot be together to celebrate Eddie’s life, but CELEBRATE it we should. There will, of course, be tears and great sadness at such a loss but, in relation to Eddie’s passing , these emotions will be accompanied with smiles, laughter and GREAT memories because, as you know, Eddie brought such happiness to us all. Eddie was a GENTLEMAN and I have no doubt, whatsoever, that Eddie will be richly rewarded for his gentleness, kindness and generosity to all he met.

For you, Maureen and Family, I pray that Our dear Lord will be with you, in a special way, during these very difficult days, that he will hold your trembling hands and give you extra strength to face whatever is to come.

To Eddie, I say thank you for everything, it’s been a huge honour and privilege to have had you in our lives. You were a very special Uncle and you will always be in our thoughts and prayers and have a special place in my heart. “You’ve Fought The Good Fight, You’ve Finished The Race and Kept The Faith” . May your reward be great in Heaven. Rest In Peace.

    Love May & Family
