Desmond Gallagher, Baldoyle, Dublin 13

GALLAGHER, Desmond (Des) Sutton Park, Dublin. Passed away peacefully, on January 8th 2022, in the wonderful care of the team on Banks Ward, Beaumont Hospital. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Pat and his sisters Maíre and Laura; father to Helen, Conor and Declan and loving grandfather to James, Laura, Shane, Lauren, Hannah, Jason and Dylan. Des was a much-loved father-in-law, a brother to Jimmy and Una, he will be missed and fondly remembered by a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

We’ll meet again

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Friday, 14th January, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal to the Church of the Resurrection, Bayside on Saturday morning for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton. Family flowers only please, donations can be made in lieu, if desired, to The Forget Me Nots Choir, as an acknowledgement of the importance of the choir in Des’s life.
