George Merrigan, Sallynoggin, County Dublin

The death has occurred of George Merrigan
Sallynoggin, Dublin
George Merrigan
Merrigan, George, (late of Sallynoggin Park and formerly of Wolfe Tone Avenue Dunlaoghaire, a lifetime employee in Dunlaoghaire Ferry Terminal), July 6th 2022, peacefully surrounded by his devoted family in St. Vincent’s Hospital. Pre- deceased by his brothers Paddy and Mick, sisters Vivienne, Carmel and Mona. A very young man for his years, George’s sudden passing has devastated his loving family and has left the world a much darker place. For those who knew him the longest; sisters Laurie and Sylvia, brother Liam and sister in-law Pat, nieces and nephews, he has left a void that can never be filled. He will also be remembered forever by the extended family, particularly all of the children who he so adored, not just as a father figure but as their hero.

May his one of a kind soul rest in peace.

George will be reposing in Sheehan’s Funeral Home, Dunlaoghaire, on Friday 8th July from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Saturday morning 9th July to St. Michael’s Church, Marine Road, arriving for 10am Funeral Mass, burial afterwards in Shanganagh Cemetery.
