Mary Whelan, Sutton, Dublin 13

WHELAN, (née McEvaddy), Mary (Mamie), (Sutton and formerly of Newport, Co. Mayo), 16th November 2022. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of Brymore House Nursing Home, Howth surrounded by her loving family. Beloved partner and soul mate of Mike. Very sadly missed by her loving children Paul and Sadhbh and also remembering their late father Peter, daughter-in-law Karen, son-in-law Barry, her adored grandchildren Jake, Abby and Luke, sisters Tess, Pat and Emer, brothers-in-law Paudie and Des, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours in Sutton and in Mayo. Remembered fondly by all the people whose lives she touched through her teaching and community development work.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at her daughter’s home, on Friday, 18th November, from 4pm to 7pm. Removal to the Church of the Resurrection, Bayside on Saturday morning for 10.30am Funeral Mass followed by cremation in Dardistown crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
