Dowd, James – July 5th, 2023 (Celbridge and formerly of 172 Claddagh Road Ballyfermot). Beloved son of the late James and Ann and brother of the late Jake Tom and Philip.

Jimmy (Doda) passed peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Francis Hospice Blanchardstown, surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with his health on the 5th July 2023.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his adored sons David and James, brothers Bobby and Pat, sister Kay, former wife and mother of his children Anne, his best lifelong friend Nick, daughter-in-law Sinead, brother-in law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

James will be reposing in Staffords Funeral Home Ballyfermot on Monday 10th July 2023 from 2pm to 5pm. Removal on Tuesday morning 11th July 2023 to St. Patrick’s Church, Main Street Celbridge arriving for 10am funeral Mass, followed with burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
Burial will be private for family only.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice Blanchardstown.
