Former Assistant Commissioner of An Garda Síochána.

Peacefully, on August 28th 2023, in the loving care of the Sacred Heart Residence, Sybil Hill Nursing Home.

Beloved husband of Bernie, and loving father of Carol (Wheeler), Paula (O’Dwyer), Jim and Ed, he will be very sadly missed by his sons-in-law Mark and Fred, daughters-in-law Odette and Tracy, his brothers John and Andrew, his fifteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his extended family, friends and former colleagues.

May He Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his daughter Paula’s residence in Clontarf on Wednesday, August 30th 2023, from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal on Thursday morning, August 31st 2023, to St Gabriel’s Church, Dollymount arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30am, followed by burial in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.
