Christopher Farrell, Portmarnock, County Dublin
Farrell Tony (Christopher), Portmarnock, Co. Dublin. 1st February; St. Brigid’s Day 2024. Peacefully after a short illness bravely borne, in the tender care of the staff at the Bon Secours Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Tere. Very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, sons Stephen and Michael, daughter Elaine, daughters-in-law Cróna and Miriam, son-in-law Stephen, his adored grandchildren Mikey, Andy and Robyn, sister Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends and neighbours.
His memory will be enjoyed for many years to come, as will his love for apple pie, for journeying to places both new and familiar, for the joy he brought to all he encountered, for his gift of music and his beautiful tenor voice which was comfortable in both solo and choral settings, and of course for his deeply cherished Tere; his special other half who was always by his side.
May He Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Tuesday, 6th February, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal to St. Anne’s Church, Portmarnock on Wednesday morning for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Balgriffin cemetery.
