James Cooney, Malahide, County Dublin

Cooney James (Jim), Malahide and late of Baltray, Co Louth and Laytown, Co. Meath and formerly of the Air Corps, Gormanstown Camp, Co Meath, passed away Peacefully 13th February 2024, in the care of Talbot Lodge Nursing Home with his wife by his side. Beloved husband of Claire. Very sadly missed by his loving wife, children Anthony, Grainne, Sean, and Michael, daughters-in-law Virginia and Rosi and Sean’s partner Susan, his adored grandchildren Tane, George, Sam, and Isabel and brothers Vivian, Martin, and Conor, also remembering his late sisters Maura and Deirdre and brother Padraig, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours in Ireland, England, and Scotland.

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Thursday, 22nd February, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal to Dardistown Crematorium on Friday, 23rd February, for a Service at 10am. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
